IT’S all systems go for the 5th Paghandum Ni Magsaysay (PNM) Adventure (climbathon) race on March 20at the Balamban Welcome Arch.
“This is in commemoration of the death of President Ramon Magsaysay, whose plane crashed in Mt. Manunggal in 1957,” Balamban Councilor Dave Karamihan said. He is also the over all chairman of the event.
This climbathon is open to professional runners, weekend warriors, and locals.
“The deadline for submission of entries will be on the race day itself,” Karamihan said.
The categories are open elite, local, executives and women’s. The registration fee for the open division is P150 and P100 for the rest.
The race will start at the Welcome Arch of the Municipality of Balamban at the Transcentral Highway and will end at the crash site in Mt. Manunggal.
