MisOr board approves 354 legislative measures in 10 months

A TOTAL of 354 legislative measures were passed and approved by the Provincial Board of Misamis Oriental from January to October of this year.

During an accomplishment report on Monday morning, November 4, Board Member Jessa Mugot said that in the span of 10 months, the provincial board has passed and approved 333 resolutions and 12 ordinances, one of which was an ordinance approving the local incentive code of Misamis Oriental.

“These and more for the betterment of our beloved province Misamis Oriental,” Mugot said.

With the office of the provincial board hosting this year’s Christmas party, Mugot said that politics should be set aside and for everyone to unite.

“Let us set aside politics, let us all unite this coming Christmas season. Bisan pa man sab sa daghang pangahitabo, thankful ta sa gift of life and there’s so many reasons to celebrate Christmas,” Mugot said.

Meanwhile, Governor Yevgeny Emano, who was not present during Monday’s flag raising ceremony, has appointed Vice Governor Jeremy Jonahmar “JigJag” Pelaez as the acting governor of the Misamis Oriental.

Emano is on a business trip outside the country with some of the provincial board members from November 4 to 8.
