PDEA dismantles drug den, nabs 6 in Mabalacat drug bust

AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Luzon dismantled a drug den and arrested six persons in an anti-narcotics operation in Sitio Lahar, Mabalacat City late Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

In a report submitted to PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, PDEA-Central Luzon Director Lyndon Aspacio identified the suspects as Noel Ramos, 39; Allan Patangui, 24; Rony Atok, 20; Renato Atok, 65; Michael Atok, 40; and Julius Fernando, 34, all residents of Mabalacat City.

Seized from the suspects were 15 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P102,000, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.

Aspacio said the operation was the fruit of a month long casing and surveillance by PDEA agents following a report from an informant.

The suspects are now detained at the PDEA jail facility in Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, Barangay Maimpis, City of San Fernando. Violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Acts of 2002 is being readied for filing in court. (PR)
