ELEVATING the customer experience to a whole new level, the Gateway Group opens a world-class facility in Cebu with its second dealership with Nissan Philippines.

On Oct. 18, Gateway and Nissan Philippines opened the biggest 2S facility in the country: the new Nissan Cebu South located right along V. Rama Avenue.

2S means that it is a service-focused facility that aims to deliver fast and high-quality auto care solutions. This includes the Nissan Express Service, which is the car manufacturer’s initiative to provide repairs without needing an appointment and complete these in 30 minutes or less depending on the service. The service area can accommodate up to 34 cars at a time.

The 5,333 square-meter dealership has a comprehensive set of amenities to provide clients a customer experience like no other: a showroom, service center, play area for kids, accessories center and a spacious parking area.

Another highlight of this facility is the all-day cafe buffet, featuring a lavish spread of pastries and baked goods complete with hot and cold beverages including an espresso machine that guests can partake of in the lounge while waiting. This feature is inspired by the exclusive lounges in airports. Nissan Cebu South’s all-day cafe buffet is the first of its kind in the country.

This momentous occasion also comes at an opportune time as coincidentally, the Gateway Group is also celebrating its 15th anniversary in the automotive industry. It’s life in full circle as Gateway commemorates this milestone with Nissan, which it considers as its main brand, with volume drivers like the Navara and Terra.

“Although operations are mainly in Manila and Davao now, Cebu will always be our home. There’s nothing like home, after all. This dealership is a testament of our commitment to provide excellent service to our customers,” said Gateway Group chairman and chief executive officer Markane Goho.

The entire facility opens as early as 7 a.m. to cater to Cebu’s early risers, with the service center closing at 6 p.m. and the showroom at 9 p.m.
