SOME 76 criminals in Baguio were arrested as the Baguio City Police office intensified its campaign against top most wanted persons (TMWP).
Joel Toropa Aronza of Camp 4 Tuba Benguet and “Maribel”, businesswoman, of Loakan Proper, the 4th and 9th top most wanted person (TMWP) station level for the 4th Quarter of 2019 were both arrested for estafa on October 21 and October 22.
Aronza and Maribel was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest with recommended bail of P50,000 issued by Judge Maria Clarita Casuga-Tabin, presiding judge of Municipal Trial Court, Branch 4, Baguio City.
Cabanatuan City’s 8th TMWP person for the 3rd Quarter of 2019 and a drug surrenderer was arrested on October 11 at BGH Compound, Baguio City.
Operatives form the BCPO in coordination with Cabanatuan City Police Station arrested “Emily”, former OFW, of Cabanatuan City and temporary billeting at Commuter Lodge in Magsaysay Avenue was nabbed by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Nelson Largo of Municipal Trial Court in Cities Third Judicial Region, Branch 3, Cabanatuan City under Criminal Case No.95191 for a case of Estafa (Art.315, par. 2(1)) with recommended bail of P18,000.
Also, Dionisio Obidoza Mendoza, farmer, was arrested at Brgy Paagan, Santol, La Union by joint operatives of Santol Municipal Police Station and BCPO by virtue of warrant of arrest for murder docketed under Criminal Case Number 25584-R with no bail recommended.
The most recorded arrests for the month were Estafa with 23, theft with 10, malicious mischief with seven and 36 other warrant of arrests for various crimes.
Station 5 contributed the most arrests with 15 including the 8th TMWP of Cabanatuan City; Station 6 with 12; Station 1 with eight; Station 10 with seven; Station 9, CIU and CMFC with five each; Station 7 with four; Station 2, 3 & 4 with three arrests each and DEU contributed one arrest.
