THE International Students’ Association from the University of Baguio and the University of the Cordilleras in line with the United Nations Day 2019 celebrations presented “One World, One Love: Celebrating the Colours of the World” last October 25 at the UB Cardinals Gym.
The Philippines and Baguio itself is a host of many cultures. Awareness, communication, interaction, and participation in these kinds of activities will surely foster peace, harmony and love in the world.
The judges for the Mr. and Miss United Nations 2019 search were Christian Bistayan, Sheila D. Villanueva, Leny Estacio, Antonio Paulite and yours truly. Hosts were Jojo Padilla, J.R. Sleiman, Diwa Mitchell, and Ruba Ahmed. The event was organized by Shirley Dino, Ronalyn Banaken, Hamaedat Olodeji, Leo Khair, Abena Serwaa Appiah, Areej Habbash, Angelika Mendoza, Alllyson Dayle Canieda, Jenell Flores, Joelizabeth Mortil, Kurt Austin Alipen, Kyla Aoas, Mj Villaflor, Charizza Tagama Lacayanga and Alaa Abdellaty.
The winners for Mr. and Miss United Nations 2019 are #6 Sangi Choi and #2 Haruna Nishi;1st RU #8 Ojuawo Mayowa Olalekam and #7 Andrea Velasco; and 2nd RU #7 Rantz Ranic and #6 Boram Jeon. Congratulations and onwards to our Cultural Ambassadors!
