SM CITY Telabastagan in the City of San Fernando formally kicked off its celebration of the Yuletide season with the ceremonial lighting of its traditional Christmas centerpiece designed to delight mall-goers and excite children with the coming Christmas season.
The Christmas reindeer-inspired centerpiece is in homage of the lovable Santa Claus’s sled reindeers in a centerpiece of dazzling white and Yuletide colors.
The centerpiece also featured Christmas themes of gifts and an area for selfies and group photos.
SM Telabastagan Public Relations Manager Rain Cervantes said the event aims to give mall-goers a different Christmas experience when visiting the mall, adding that SM aims to create a unique Christmas experience for young mall goers.
Cervantes said the attraction brings about fond memories of Christmas and would surely delight both the children and the young at heart.
“The centerpiece invites people to go back to their childhood memories of Christmas and relive the magic of those experiences,” Cervantes said.
“SM’s simple message is to let people know that SM is always a home to everyone, especially this holiday season which is very important to us Filipinos,” she added.
Meanwhile, Cervantes said the centerpiece will be available for display until the first week of January together with other Christmas decorations around the mall.
