SM CITY Pampanga is all set to spread a "Sparkling SM Smalliday" experience among its mall goers as it unveils its Christmas centerpiece at the Global Fashion Wing.

The lighting up ceremony of the 25-foot Christmas tree, along with other lanterns installed across the mall, officially ushered in the Yuletide season at the longest mall in the country.

Different from the other malls, SM City Pampanga went on with the traditional design of Christmas tree wrapped with red ribbon and other ornaments, and topped with a three-foot star.

SM Supermalls regional operations manager Andrea Madlangbayan said the annual installation of grand Christmas centerpiece in SM malls aims to give an extraordinary experience to its valued customers during the holiday season.

"Christmas is the best season of all. It is the season of warmth, giving and togetherness, and we want to make it even more memorable for our mall goers, especially children, through our picture-perfect centerpieces and the overall mall design," she said.

The Christmas launch was even made special with the gift-giving activity for the 30 children from the Autism Society of the Philippines.

"We wanted to share the Christmas joy to the children from Autism Society of the Philippines by inviting them and letting them experience this festive event and of course, give them their early Christmas gifts," Madlangbayan said.

The audience, meanwhile, were treated with the performance of Idol Philippines Grand Winner Zephanie Dimaranan and the meet-and-greet of basketball icon Jimmy Alapag, wife LJ Moreno and their children.
