Barmm to release Maguindanao, Sulu 4Ps beneficiaries' cash grants

THE Ministry of Social Services and Development in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MSSD-Barmm) is set to release this November the cash grants of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries of Sulu and Maguindanao provinces.

Lawyer Raissa Jajurie, MSSD minister, said they are taking measures to ensure that nothing will be deducted from what the beneficiaries are supposed to receive.

Jajurie said each beneficiary will receive the monthly P500 health grant, P300 pesos per child in daycare and elementary, and P500 per child in high school.

A single household can have a maximum of three children as beneficiaries.

Jajurie said they have yet to finalize as to the exact dates the cash grants will be released to the beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, she issued a memorandum prohibiting the release of the cash grants to a "second person" or anyone who acts as representative of the actual grantee.

She said they will coordinate with the Ministry of Interior and Local Government to ensure the orderly conduct of the 4Ps pay-outs in the two provinces. (SunStar Zamboanga)
