C’94 takes lead in NOHS Alumni bowlfest

THE Class of 1994 duckpin team took over the lead in the ongoing Negros Occidental High School Alumni Association, Inc. (NOHSAAI) Bowlfest For Unity elimination round hosted by incoming Silver Jubilarian Class ‘95 at Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

With Toto Flores at the helm, they pinned down a total of 1,473 pins in the second set to steal the top spot from C’84, who struggled with 1,353. The C’94 had an accumulated score of 2,938, while C’84 fell at 4th spot with 2,821.

C’99 led by Joemar Baylon surged at rank no.2 with their highest triple topple of the night of 1,494 to gather 2,858 followed by C’85 with a total of 2,824.

Completing the Top 10: ‘83 - 2,766; ‘87 - 2,761; ‘66 - 2,752; ‘96 - 2,750; Golden - 2,694; and ‘65- 2,694.

Prizes at stake are gift cash, custom-made trophies, and souvenir items worth at least Php40,000 with special awards to highest scorers during the eliminations.

After the 5th sked, the classification phase of the bowlfest will commence according to aggregate pin falls of each team. This duckpin mix 5-man event is organized by Class ‘95 headed by Essho Garcia.
