A FATHER and son, who are both village watchmen, were killed in a shooting incident in Barangay Kalumboyan, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
Police identified the fatalities as Felipe Condez, 60, and his son Jonesis Condez, 31, both residents of Barangay Kalamtukan of the same city.
Based on initial investigation by Bayawan City police, the victims were heading home in their motorcycle when they were attacked by motorcycle-riding assailants.
Both victims were killed on the spot after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds in their bodies from a still unidentified caliber type of firearm.
Police are still investigating the motive over the murders. (TDE)
