A PIER porter who sidelines as a drug seller was arrested during a buy-bust in Barangay Tejero, Cebu City on Friday night, Nov. 15, 2019.
Around P1.4 million worth of suspected shabu was recovered from Alvin Fegarido, 29, during the operation inside his house in Sitio Riverside.
Anti-drug enforcement units of the Waterfront Police Station led by P/Major Joemar Pomarejos conducted the drug bust against Fegarido after receiving reports of the latter’s illegal activities.
Pomarejos said they recovered three large packs, two medium packs and three small packs of suspected shabu from Fegarido.
Pomarejos said Fegarido reportedly gets his drug supply from a suspected drug lord based in Bohol.
Pomarejos said Fegarido closely coordinates with another drug pusher from Barangay San Roque, Cebu City who serves as his link to the Bohol-based drug lord that provides his supply.
Fegarido is currently detained at the Waterfront Police Station in Cebu City and will be charged on Monday with illegal drug possession and selling. (BBT/JKV)
