1,432 wanted persons arrested

THE Police Regional Office (PRO)-Davao Region has recorded a total of 1,432 wanted persons who were arrested from January to October this year including most-wanted individuals.

Based on PRO-Davao Region’s data, for October alone, they have already arrested 337 individuals from different provinces and cities of Davao Region from October 1 to 31, attributed to the operations of police intelligence operatives and warrant section personnel. They are composed of 282 wanted persons and 55 most wanted individuals.

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) led the police unit with most number of arrested persons in October at 143; Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office (DNPPO) with 67; and Davao Oriental Police Provincial Office (Dorppo) with 41; Davao del Sur Police Provincial Office (DSPPO) with 35; Compostela Valley Police Provincial Office with (CVPP) 33; and Davao Occidental Police Provincial Office (Docppo) with 18 arrested wanted persons.

In October, two brothers in the most wanted list for rape yielded. They were identified as Rodelo Laurella Operio, Alias Kadoy, 30, married, laborer and a resident of Purok Talaytay, Malungon Dako, Sarangani Province; and his brother, Rogelio Laurella Operio, 37, with live-in partner, farmer and a resident of Purok 12, Bunawan Broke, Agusan del Sur.

Rodelo is considered in Montevista as top 8 most wanted while Rogelio is top 5 most wanted of the same municipality.
