GIPAUBOS sa kinalit nga drug test ang mga pulis sa Talisay City Police Station, tibuok buntag sa Sabado, Nobiyembre 16.
Usa kini sa unang programa sa bag-o lang naumol nga City Advisory Council for Police Transformation and Development (CACPTD) sa dakbayan sa Talisay aron pagseguro nga ang mga pulis sa Talisay nga gisuportaran sa Advisory Council nga mopatunhay sa kahapsay ug kalinaw sa siyudad, limpyo gikan sa ilegal nga drugas.
Matod ni Police Major Gerard Ace Pelare, pangu sa TCPS, nga 61 sa ilang mga pulis ang napaubos sa surprise drug test, diin tanan nag-negatibo kini.
“The activity was done to make sure that those who are tasked to implement the law are not in any way involved in illegal drug use or trade and are really one with our cause of minimizing the illegal drug problem,” tipik sa gipadala nga statement ni Pelare.
Niadtong Biyernes sa buntag, Nobiyembre 15 lang, nanumpa ang mga sakop sa CACPTD, nga gilangkuban sa mga konsehal, ug mga representante sa nagkadaiya nga sektor, pinanguluhan ni Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony Gullas.
“A memorandum of understanding (MOU) will be signed next week to signal the regularity of the surprise drug test as well as to forge partnership with the owner of the Company,” dugang ni Pelare. (FMD)
