THE Department of Agriculture (DA) has conferred the 2019 National Achievers Awards to five agricultural extension workers of Zamboanga City.
The awarding ceremony was held during the national convention held from November 11 to 14 in Iloilo City.
City Agriculturist Carmencita Sanchez identified the awardees as Jaime Troyo, Richard Manlincon, Sean Janubas, Danilo Cajes and Medardo Lozada.
They were among the top 100 agriculture extension workers' awardees from all over the country.
This year is the first time that Zamboanga City, through the City Agriculturist Office, participated in the Search for Outstanding Agricultural Extension Workers in the National Quality Corn Achievers Awards.
