SHS-ATENEO de Cebu forward LA Casinillo added another feather to his cap as he was named the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) high school basketball tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
The 16-year old was also named to the prestigious Mythical Five team alongside the University of Cebu’s Isaiah Blanco and Luther Leonard, the University of Southern Philippines Foundation’s Kyle Ochavo and the marksman from Balamban, Albert Sacayan of the University of the Visayas.
Ateneo de Cebu and UC were battling in Game Two of the finals as of this writing. Ateneo de Cebu is up in the best-of-three finals, 1-0, after winning the series opener last Monday, 74-69. (SunStar Cebu)
