SWU-Phinma's Imperial crowned as Cesafi MVP

SOUTHWESTERN University-Phinma’s Shaquille Imperial was named the Most Valuable Player in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) men’s basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum on Thursday, November 21, 2019.

The sweet-shooting wingman from Lapu-Lapu City garnered the prestigious award after he helped lead the Cobras to its first finals appearance in five years.

He also got a spot on the Mythical Five team along with teammate Lamine Thiam of Senegal, the University of the Visayas’ Sheldon Gahi and teammate Jancork Cabahug, and the University of Cebu’s Darrell Shane Menina. (SunStar Cebu)
