23 candidates vie for Mutya Ning Candaba 2019

TWENTY-THREE young women representing different villages of Candaba town are set to compete for the coveted Mutya Ning Candaba 2019 crown.

The candidates were officially presented to Candabeños through the event’s official Facebook page, which will also be used to garner votes for the popularity segment.

According to Mayor Rene Maglanque, the competition is not only looking for the physical beauty of the candidates, but also for personality and proper embodiment of a true Candabeña.

He disclosed that this year’s winner will be representing the town for the Mutya Ning Kapampangan 2020, and hopefully other competitions across and outside the country.

“Since the winner will be the official representative of Candaba for Mutya Ning Kapampangan and other competitions after that, we wanted to make sure that can properly showcase the traits of Candabeños, and the rich culture and heritage of our town,” he said.

The Mutya Ning Candaba 2019 is part of the town’s month-long fiesta celebration. Coronation night will be held on November 29 at the Candaba Trade Center.
