THE Provincial Treasurer’s Office of Misamis Oriental has launched a series of campaigns to raise their tax collection.
According to Provincial Treasurer Ronald Jame Violon, they will be holding tax relief conferences in various areas in the province.
On November 4, the Provincial Treasurer’s Office conducted a tax relief conference in Opol town. The group informed the participants about the benefits of tax payers if they avail the province’s tax relief program.
Tax relief, Violon said, is a program that gives the tax payers an opportunity to pay their taxes without penalties, surcharges and interest on their property, land and structure.
This program is until December this year, he added.
Violon also requested the tax payers to avail the tax relief program as soon as possible, especially those with delinquencies in their rents, given that the tax relief is only available at the end of 2019.
