TWO alleged members of a private armed group (PAG) surrendered to the police in November 21 to clear their names.
Those who surrendered are Fortunato Donato Rodriguez, 33, and Benjie Andres Vista, 36.
Rodriguez and Vista, residents of Pugo, La Union and natives of Pulot, Lagayan, Abra, are members of Sindon Group, which is a newly identified PAG.
Both surrendered to the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) Office of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO–COR).
Rodriguez and Vista signed an affidavit of undertaking, denying they are members of PAG.
The two promised to cooperate with the PNP and to not engage in any criminal activities.
