FORMER Cesafi standout Sam Hermosa had himself quite the ballgame as he powered Batch 2006 past 2001-L, 78-70, in the 1st University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Alumni Inter-Batch Basketball Tournament at the USPF gym along Salinas Drive, Cebu City on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
Hermosa had 26 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and three steals to give 2006 the rousing victory.
In the other game on Saturday, Junjie Aclan filled the stat-sheet up in leading 1996 past 1995, 82-72. Aclan tallied 23 points, seven boards, five assists and two teams in the convincing win.
Meanwhile, the games last Friday, November 22, saw Batch 1994 clobber 1991, 108-52, while 2000 bested 2001-L, 79-69. Marlon Demape produced 19 points, seven boards, four assists and a steal to help give 2000 the victory.
