TURKS Shawarma, the No. 1 Shawarma brand in the Philippines has permitted a franchise to Bacolod young entrepreneur Wilson Noel Au and his fiancée Ella Sitchon with its newest location at the Simplicio Palanca seaport terminal at Reclamation Area.

It officially opened its doors yesterday, November 26, to Bacolod and Panay passengers who take the boats from Bacolod City to Iloilo City and vice versa.

Entrepreneur Au said that people love to eat Shawarma with choices such as spicy beef or chicken and regular Shawarma flavors.

Shawarma is easy to eat because you can take it either you are rushing to your boat ride or take it in a leisurely manner, he added.

Turks Shawarma costs P60 without cheese and P75 with cheese.

Given the substantial foot traffic at the port, the young entrepreneur shows optimism that his fledgling business will build-up in time.
