ORGANIZERS of Miss Iloilo 2020 have vowed to help Ilonggas level up to national pageants, as 11 beauties vie for three crowns.
The candidates were presented to the media to start their journey for the titles during the main pageant night at West Visayas State University Cultural Center on January 23, 2020.
They are the following:
1.) Syra Jinon Jagunap, 18, of Leganes
2.) Desiree Jane Espa Tubaon, 22, of Igbaras
3.) Tarilaye Figalan John Beke, 25, of Pavia
4.) Rabiya Occena Mateo, 23, of Balasan
5.) Mary Desiree Defante Rendoque, 18, of Cabatuan
6.) Sharamie Apuli Solocio, 18, of Sta. Barbara
7.) Blessie Jay Senerez Villablanca, 21, of La Paz, Iloilo City
8.) Keshapor Nam Empedrad Ramachand Ran, 19, of Bo. Obrero, Lapuz, Iloilo City;
9.) Darra Lorreine Galvan Sadsad, 20, of Sibunag, Guimaras
10.) Karen Laurrie Bano Mendoza, 24, of Concepcion, Iloilo
11.) Ann Roxal Dedel Palmares, 20, of Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
The candidates will have the chance to win an opportunity to continue their dreams as Miss Iloilo 2020 for Binibining Pilipinas, Miss Iloilo-World 2020 for Miss World Philippines, and Miss Iloilo-Earth for Miss Earth Philippines.
Candidates with Ilonggo blood from anywhere in the world will be trained on master classes from make-up, poise and posture, walk, ramp modeling, and speech to personality development.
Advocating "heartfelt beauty," they are also encouraged and supported to have their own social projects and advocacies that will have an impact in the community.
Catch them at these pre-pageant activities: Casual Wear Competition and Fashion Show at SM City Iloilo on January 11, 2020; Talent Competition at Festive Walk Mall on January 18, 2020; and Outreach Program at Robinson's Place Iloilo on January 19, 2020. (PR)
