Oro China Jewelry presents women of influence

ORO China Jewelry has collaborated with three of some of the city’s influential Cebuanas for its new collections, each bearing different styles and personalities: furniture designer Kate Ngo and yogis and co-owners Jenifer Martinez and Danessa Onglatco. These are collections inspired by different women, created for every woman.

This is the brand’s second collaboration with Jenifer. After receiving positive reviews of her previous collection, the brand reached out to her for one more collaboration along with Danessa and Kate.

“We at Oro China Jewelery believe in women empowerment. Collaborating with women of influence is a very good partnership for our brand because we support women who are successful; same with our products as we have a variety of different products for all ages—we have something in store for everyone,” shared Oro China Group of Companies’ chief executive officer Jennifer Ty, adding that the different inspirations added more diversity and creativity.

“I’m a local brand supporter. This is an opportunity to showcase my designs not just in Cebu but all over the Philippines. I’m humbled to be part of this project again,” said Martinez. Onglatco shared the same sentiment regarding the partnership. “It’s such an honor to be collaborating and celebrating with Cebu’s top jewelry brand,” she said pointing out the role and responsibility that comes with being an influencer.

When asked if they often feel that pressure especially when posting on their respective social media accounts, Kate said: “I guess one commonality between the three of us is that we never sought out to be an influencer in the first place. You have to find the balance. Stay true to your identity.”

With this in mind, each women shared collections that reflected each of their personalities and personal preferences.

Kate defines her collection as modern classic: simple pieces but with a contemporary twist. Jenifer’s is a versatile collection which can be worn anytime, anywhere not just focusing on beauty but also versatility. Danessa’s collection is inspired by nature in edgy and striking pieces, reflecting her outgoing and adventurous spirit.
