HIGHLAND Boxing Gym’s Carlo Magali said his experience will be his advantage when he takes on a younger Al Toyogon next month.

Magali and Toyogon will square off December 21 at Manila Arena for the Asian Boxing Federation and Philippines super featherweight title.

Magali seeks to win his last bout this year after absorbing two defeats and one victory while promising fight fans of a possible knockout against a younger Toyogon.

“Magandang laban to (This will be a good fight). Expect a knockout,” predicts Magali who is eight years older than Toyogon.

The former OPBF super featherweight champion has 24 victories with 13 knock - outs including 13 loss with three draws while Toyogan has won 10 with six knock-outs with five loss and one draw.

“I’m almost 100% sa conditioning ko tapos yung stamina and speed ko ang concentration sa training ngayon,” added Magali.

Magali is set to wrap up his sparring at the Highland Boxing Gym in La Trinidad, Benguet in the first week of December before moving down to Manila to fine tune their game plan against Toyogon.

The 33-year–old Magali earlier saw action in Australia but succumbed to a unanimous decision loss against Billel Dib in September for the World Boxing Association Oceana super featherweight crown.

Toyogon is on a three-fight skid with losses from Jorge Linares, Shuya Masaki, and Ryo Sagawa after piling up five successive wins that include four knockouts.
