STUDENTS from the University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos (UNO-R) in Bacolod have taken the road to excellence with their participation in the various forms of competition held during the conduct of the 61st Convention by the Children’s Museum and Library Inc.
The convention was attended by the junior and senior high students of UNO-R held at Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City on November 13 to 17, 2019.
The competition includes a competition for excellence, entertainment, film making, traditional poster making, pop quiz hotshots and workshop.
The winners for the competition for excellence were Tricia Nicole Panzo - second runner up, News Writing Filipino; Lester Garche - first runner up, Photo Essay English; Kit Martin De Paula, first runner up, Extemporaneous Speaking English; and Khezia Paula Dumala-os - second runner up, Digital Poster Making.
Competition for entertainment
The winners are Molerick Paul Otero - CHAMPION, Spoken Word Poetry and Patricia Talisay - first runner up, OPM Pop Song.
Finalist for final rounds
For Radio Drama, they were Thea Angela Ebon, Noah Cambal, Gian Romy Cabrillos, Tricia Nicole Panzo, Kit Martin De Paula, Khezia Paula Dumala-os, Shanly Granada, Dhels Jester Dulla and Sean Patrick Tan.
The participants in Short Film Making were Thea Angela Ebon, Molerick Paul Otero, Noah Cambal, Kazumi Gidlayan, Khezia Paula Dumala-os, Gian Romy Cabrillos, Shanly Granada, Lorina Uychocde, Dhels Jaster Dulla and Sean Patrick Tan.
For Traditional Poster Making, the winner was Shanly Granada.
For Quartet (Elims Qualifier), the winners were Lorina Uychocde, Kazumi Gidlayan, Molerick Paul Otero and Kit Martin De Paula.
For Pop Quiz Hot Shots (Elims Qualifier), the winners were Noah Cambal and Gian Romy Cabrillos.
For the Workshop, the Best in Modeling Workshop was Sean Patrick Tan.
