SEEING the boom of businesses and promising plans for infrastructure, Fast Autoworld Philippines Corp. (FAPC) opens a new Mitsubishi Motors dealership on the island of Mactan.

Following the groundbreaking in 2017, FAPC finally had the inauguration and blessing ceremony of its Mactan branch for Mitsubishi Motors on Nov. 25. Next to Mandaue and Cebu–South, this is the company’s third branch in Cebu and 10th in VisMin.

“We are inaugurating our 10th FAPC branch today, and more importantly, we are celebrating the latest milestone and investment in our long-standing relationship with the Mitsubishi Motors brand,” said FAPC director William B. Chiongbian II during his opening speech at the event.

The new 6,300 square-meter facility has a spacious showroom that can fit up to 10 cars and a service bay that can accommodate up to 16 cars. The service center is fully equipped to provide preventive maintenance, general maintenance and repairs.

Here, one can view the latest models from the Japanese automotive manufacturer such as the re-introduced L300 van with a Euro 4 engine and the Montero Sport 2020 featuring the new Dynamic Shield look.

The opening of the Mactan branch was planned in anticipation of the third bridge known as the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), which is set to be completed approximately two years from now.

More than just the opening of a new edifice, the Mactan branch also stands as another testament to the growth of Lapu-Lapu City, which has seen an impressive rate of development in recent years.

“The intention of this facility is to bring our services and products closer to home, closer to the Oponganons and the residents of the neighboring areas,” said FAPC business manager Nericar Lim.

Since FAPC opened Mitsubishi Mandaue 32 years ago, FAPC has been known for its exemplary sales and after-sales service, building long-term relationships with business partners and clients over the years.

Next in the pipeline for FAPC is the opening of another Mitsubishi Motors dealership in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro next year.

FAPC Mitsubishi Motors Mactan Branch is located in Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu.
