HOLIDAYMAKERS are in for a season filled with excitement as Quest Hotel & Conference Center Cebu unveils “The Dazzling Days of Christmas,” a celebration highlighted by fun activities, impressive dining options, and heartwarming gift-giving opportunities for guests. It was unveiled at the hotel’s famed tradition the Bell-Ringing Ceremony last Nov. 13.
Throughout the season, guests are invited to visit Hansel & Gretel’s House, a life-size gingerbread house delightfully and deliciously covered using real sweets and candies, where inside guests may choose and shop for holiday pastries including ube ensaymada, fruitcake, stollen, panettone, banana loaf, rum cake, cookies, crinkles and more. At the entrance, bibingka and puto bumbong are made fresh daily, plus there is a play area for children.
Children will particularly enjoy and love the handmade wooden toys by Seed Studio, also available at Hansel & Gretel’s House throughout the Christmas period. The toys that include cars, airplanes, cooking set, stove, and blocks among many others, are intricately crafted by Cebuano woodworkers. More than just fun and play—it is also an opportunity for guests to give back as proceeds of the toys will be donated to hotel beneficiary Philippine Accessible Disability Services Inc.
Starting Dec. 14, Quest kicks-off “The 12 Days of Christmas,” a series of activities leading to Christmas Day. It is time to go shopping at the Virtucio Trunk Show on Dec. 14; take snaps with Santa Claus at a free photo booth on Dec. 18; go for a dip at Santa’s Pool Party on Dec. 20; with many more pocket activities in between. For holiday carols and tunes, there is a Yuletide Ukulele show on Dec. 21 and a Christmas Chorale on Dec. 24. On Dec. 25, guests get the chance to meet and greet Santa Claus and his pals at the lobby.
“The Dazzling Days of Christmas” culminates with Festive Feasts at SunStar Best of Cebu recognized Pusô Bistro & Bar, the hotel’s all-day dining outlet. Early elf rates are available for guests booking on or before Dec. 10. (PR)
