Si Philippine National Games (PNG) 2018 champion Morcillo, nga miapil sa national arnis team karon na tuig nagkanayon, “Excited na nakulbaan pero okay ra Maam.”
Ang 24-anyos nga newbie sa kompetisyon nagdugang nga target niya ang gold medal sa women’s pinweight (-50 kilograms) division sa full contact live stick competition sa Angeles University Foundation).
“Target nako maka gold Maam kay naa akong pamilya mutan-aw. I’m 100 percent ready na for almost five months of training. Amo jud ning gipaghandaan,” ni Morcillo sa SunStar Davao.
Siya ang unang Filipino female fighter nga motigi karong hapon.
“Kailangan nako ibuhos na jud tanan sa dula. God willing, maayo unta makuha nako akong target.”
Upat lamang ka entries ang anaa sa iyang weight class, ang arnisadors gikan Vietnam, Cambodia ug Myanmar.
