THE most-awaited month of the year is finally here! And this is indeed the season not only to be jolly but to be generous as well.

Having your favorite shop’s app on your mobile device is a convenient way of knowing the latest promos. As they say, you get the first dibs of their great shopping offers. At times, there are also those offered for app users exclusively.
2. Get a loyalty card.
If you frequent the place, like the SM Stores, for instance, getting a loyalty card comes handy. Personally, I have been a holder of SM Advantage Card (SMAC) for so many years now. And with it, I was able to get a new blouse or a pair of pants for free. Thanks to the points I earn every time I shop.
Also, since holiday season is here already, SM has a number of deals for its loyal customers. For example, you can get an additional 10 percent discount if you shop on a particular day.
3. Make a list.
Listing down the things you need to buy for yourself and the people you love is the best way to ensure that you do not go out of budget. You can shop faster, too!
4. Plan it out.
Once you have a list of the gifts you must buy, it would be better also if you make a plan of your trip to the mall. You have to know which shop or section to visit first as well as your next and last stops.
It pays to have an organized and a well-planned shopping to save you time, especially now that a lot of people flock to the same destinations.
5. Follow relevant social media pages.
All shops and malls have their respective social media pages. Follow them. Make sure, though, that these are the official ones.
By doing so, you get updated of their latest deals. And these include their shopping hours. If you are heading to SM Lanang Premier to buy the gifts you have always wanted, the mall is open until 12 midnight on December 13 to 14 and December 20 to 23.
6. Buy something functional or meaningful.
While preparing a list for your shopping sprees, consider those gifts that are functional or meaningful. Make sure that your loved ones can use it. Or, you can get something that makes a meaningful celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
You can purchase a pair of fluffy bears, for example, for P200. One will go to your godchild, while the other will be given to a child in an orphanage or child center.
7. Enjoy.
No matter how tiring it could be, do not forget to enjoy your trip to the mall. After all, ‘tis the season to share the love with everyone around you.
