ANTICIPATING the glistening and festive holiday season, Balletcenter Cebu will present that delightful chlldren’s ballet, “The Little Mermaid,” on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6 and 7, 6:30 p.m., at Cinema One, Ayala Center Cebu.
This year takes on a celebratory feel, as Balletcenter Cebu marks its 69th anniversary. It is for this reason that the center, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, and Ayala will present Gregory Aaron’s and Nicolas Pacaña’s world-class performance.
In “The Little Mermaid,” audiences will follow Ariel on her exciting journey to the underwater kingdom!

Are you feeling Christmas-y yet? You definitely will with Robinsons Galleria Cebu’s tree lighting rites! Visit the mall lobby and absorb the spirit of “RLove,” which is Robinsons’ mission to bring together everything we love about the season!
For some, it’s the food. Others like the festivities. Still, others simply love to bask in the warmth of family gatherings! “RLove” encompasses all!
Behold the glitz and glow of the towering Christmas tree at the lobby, heavy with gleaming red and gold balls, twinkling bells, fairy lights, vintage houses etc. Check out the unique vintage pick-up and Christmas House as well.
During the tree lighting, there were live performances by Adlib, the children of Rise Above Foundation and students from Umapad Elementary School. The latter two groups were beneficiaries of Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
That’s not all! Yuletide concerts follow every 6 p.m. on Dec. 6, 13 and 20 at the Verandah. A Christmas Card and Creative Gift Wrapping session will be held on Dec. 7 from 1 to 5 p.m. by Artissimo. There’s also the DIY Christmas Décor session by Richie’s Pixie Dust on Dec.8 from 1 to 5 p.m, and the Make Your Peppermint Slime session by Tinkerhouse on Dec. 20, 2 to 4 p.m. Children will be delighted to Meet and Greet Mr. and Mrs. Claus on Dec. 13, 14 and 15 at 4 p.m. inside the Christmas House at the Mall Area.
There’s so much more to “RLove at Robinsons,” but never forget, it’s the glorious birthday of the Child Jesus that we’re commemorating.
