THE PMI Colleges Bohol Navigators struck back and tied the finals series in the Seniors division of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association (BSAA) Season 9 at 1-1 with a resounding 85-55 thumping of the BIT International College in Game Two at the Barder Gym in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday night, Dec. 4, 2019.

Eager to bounce back after the Game One debacle, PMI played heads-up basketball in the first three periods, especially in the third canto where they outscored BIT, 30-11, to bring a 71-37 lead to the fourth canto.

Regiren Campaner spearheaded PMI’s attack as he compiled 17 points, six rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot. Arvin Bitad and Marjoe Enguito added 16 markers each while Mark Berdera helped out with his 14 markers to send the championship showdown to a deciding Game Three at the University of Bohol gym on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019.

The Juniors division finals meanwhile, will also be going the distance after GreAtMinds Leadership Academy evened up their best-of-three series with an 83-80 win over UB.

GLA was behind 51-55 at the start of the fourth canto but grabbed the win, thanks to a 32-25 outburst down the stretch. Kobe Naron took control for GLA as he played stellar basketball on both ends of the floor, tallying 20 points, five rebounds, four assists, a steal and four blocked shots for the Knights.

John Loquellano added 16 points, James Dumapias produced 15 while John Ponla fired up 12 to help GLA even the series up and send it to a rubbermatch. (JNP)
