SWU-Phinma grabs 1st win in Kibawe invitational

THE reigning Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) champions Southwestern University-Phinma Cobras got off to a victorious start in the 1st Mayor’s Cup Invitational Basketball of Kibawe after they defeated the LGU Damulog, 71-57, in Kibawe, Bukidnon on Wednesday night, December 4, 2019.

SWU-Phinma, which is representing LGU Maramag, is set to take on the JT Gamolo-Hotel de Susana, which is being represented by players from the Pasig Sta. Lucia of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 5.

JT Gamolo-Hotel de Susana is trying to bounce back after it lost its opening game to LGU Dangcagan, 68-77.

LGU Damulog meanwhile, which is being represented by players from the University of Cebu, will be playing against the XY Builders at 8 p.m. (SunStar Cebu)
