Didal, Ledermann secure golds in skateboarding events

TWO Filipino skateboarders, including a 2018 Asian Games gold medalist, secured two gold medals for the country during the skateboarding event of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Thursday, December 5.

Cebuana skater Margielyn Didal won a gold medal in the women's Game of S.K.A.T.E event while fellow skateboarder Daniel Ledermann secured another gold in the men's event.

The event was held at the Sigtuna Hall, Tagaytay International Convention Center.

Didal, who was the 2018 Asian Games gold medalist in skateboarding, outlasted Christiana Means in an all-Filipina finals for her first SEA Games gold medal.

Ledermann, a Filipino-German skater whose mother is from Barili in Cebu, bagged his first SEA Games gold medal to complete the country’s sweep in the Games of S.K.A.T.E. (SunStar Cebu)
