ArTabang to hold exhibit for Typhoon Tisoy, Mindanao quake victims

FOR the third time, ArTabang is set to showcase artworks from different artists from all around the Philippines to help local artists and victims of recently calamities such as the Mindanao earthquake and Typhoon Tisoy.

ArTabang 3 is an art show and sales event that showcases art works from local artists all over the Philippines, founded by the Sacred Heart School for Boys - Batch 85 Foundation.

For this year, ArTabang 3 will be held on December 7, 2019, Saturday, at 12th floor, Oakridge IT Center 3 Building, Oakridge Business Park, A.S. Fortuna, in Mandaue City.

Aside from more than 200 paintings that will be exhibited this Saturday, 30 massive collaboration paintings are set to be silently auctioned from 7:00PM until 10:30 PM. Silent bidders can write down their bids on sheets provided at the venue.

For all other pieces, it will be up for sale during the same time at the venue itself.

For those who wish to view the art pieces online, these may done via ArTabang’s Facebook page where previewing will start from 10:00AM until 6:00PM on the same day.

However, online bids may only be accepted through the same Facebook page only from 7:00PM until 10:30PM.

The first ArTabang was held in 2013 where over P6 million worth of paintings were sold in six hours for the benefit of Typhoon Yolanda victims.

ArTabang 2 occurred in 2017, which managed to raise P12 million which was donated to those affected by the Ormoc earthquake.

The exhibit is open to the public from 6:30PM until 10:00PM. (PR)
