9 Chinese women rescued; 3 arrested in ‘sex den’

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Nine Chinese women were rescued in an entrapment operation conducted by joint operatives in a sex den in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, early dawn Friday, December 6.

Brigadier General Rhodel Sermonia, acting director of Police Regional Office-Central Luzon, said that three suspected Chinese nationals reportedly operators were arrested.

Sermonia identified the suspects as Wang Xiankai, 37, of Sichuan, China; Fan Jianwu, 42, of Hubei, China; and Huang Ming of Zhe Jong Klua, China.

He said the Anti-Trafficking Task Force III and Mabalacat police conducted the entrapment operation in a hotel at Aguinaldo Street in Clark Freeport which was allegedly used by the suspects as a sex den.

The rescued women were identified as Zhou Jiao, Zeng Jinggong, Tang Ting, Shu Xia, Yan Wenquin, Cuixian Jie, Lin Sanping, Xiong Zixiu, and Chen Tin.

The Chinese nationals allegedly pose as guests in Onpool Villa where the foreign victims were “maintained” and sexually exploited by the suspects, engaging them in prostitution under pretext tours and travel plans.

Sermonia said that a customer will avail of the “services” of a woman for P6,000.

The arrested suspects are presently detained at the Mabalacat City police station while the rescued victims were taken to Department of Social Welfare and Development. (Ric Sapnu)
