THE embattled Kate Brios of Bacolod City was named as the Ambassadress of Hope in a recently concluded Noble Queen of the Universe 2019 pageant held at the Centennial Hall of Manila hotel on December 2, 2019.
Brios was the Noble Queen of Philippines-Visayas representative.
Noble queen is an event that champions on women empowerment. This event enables various charities and organizations to support women’s causes and welfare.
Brios joined the great women who represented countries from across the universe namely Ms. America, Australia, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Switzerland, Sweden, Sweden Capital, Guam, Russia,Asia America, London, East Coast, Asia America, and four of Filipina beauties represented the Philippines for Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and Bicol.
“I won as best in evening gown and the Ambassadress of Hope. I am very happy and humbled to join this prestigious pageant because it is not only about glamour and beauty but most especially it is about the different advocacies about women’s causes,” she said.
Brios was escorted by Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo, Jr.
“Atty. Panelo was delighted to witness the event because of its noble mission to promote causes that help empower women to make a positive change in society. Atty. Panelo is a close friend of mine for so many years and when I have special events, he is always there for me to show his support. He felt honored to be my escort because he believes in my advocacy.
Brios carried on an advocacy that aims to help empower women’s right by staving off abuses and promote women’s protection. I hope and pray that the Noble Queen will continue to bring about positive change in the universe.
Meanwhile, Brios’ evening gown was designed by Alexis Bermudez and her national costume designer was Angel Baronda.
