LA TRINIDAD officials, led by Mayor Romeo Salda, and League of Associations at the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post, led by president Nora Ganase, sent off more than five tons of assorted Benguet vegetables, non-food items and cash that were used to buy at least 28 cavans of rice that were donated to the disaster affected province of Apayao last week.

The donation came from the outreach drive within their organization to provide support to the people of Apayao who were recently affected by continuous rains causing massive floods and landslides and typhoons Ramon and Sarah recently. (Redjie Melvic Cawis)
