AROUND 1,375 employees of the City Government of Bacolod will receive P40,000 worth of bonus this December 2019.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia said on Monday, December 9, that regular employees, plantilla casual and co-terminus such as executive assistants and technical assistants, as well as elected city officials will receive P5,000 Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI) and P25,000 Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA).
“We will submit this to the City Council for their final approval,” Leonardia said.
He added that government employees will also receive P10,000 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI), which was earlier announced by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Under Administrative Order (AO) 19 signed by Duterte on December 2, the grant of SRI is in line with the implementation of Joint Resolution 4 inked on June 17, 2009, which allows the release of incentives as rewards for a government employee's loyalty and exceptional financial and operational performance.
Leonardia said the PEI and CAN should be released not earlier than December 15 while the SRI should be released not earlier than December 20.
“We will follow these guidelines,” the mayor assured.
