The Shoppes unveils Christmas centerpiece

ANGELES CITY -- A new shopping and leisure hub in town launched its Christmas centerpiece to usher in the Yuletide season.

The Shoppes by The Infinity lighted up its 15 feet centerpiece stack made up of Christmas balls with the theme of gold and silver, which symbolizes the color of The Infinity on December 6.

The Christmas tree lighting coincided with the soft launching of The Shoppes' retail strip.

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Vice Mayor Vicky Vega, members of the City Council, Pogs Suller, PG Ponce, Joseph Alfhie Bonifacio, Niknok Banola, Amos Rivera, Raco Paolo Del Rosario, Pulung Maragul village chief Armando Oliveros and Executive Assistant to the Mayor Raffy Angeles graced the lighting ceremony.

Jenra Board of Directors also joined the event starting with Sacred Heart Medical Center Business and Finance Director Josefina Tan-Siy, Jenra Grand Supermarket and Jumbo Jenra Dau and Sindalan chief executive officer Edgardo Tan, Sacred Heart Medical Center President and CEO Nenita Tan-Canlas, Jumbo Jenra Angeles CEO Ricardo Tan, and Jollibee, Greenwich, Mang Inasal, Chowking Franchises managing director Albert Tan.

According to The Shoppes general manager Byron John Siy, the new shopping hub marks an important milestone for the Jenra Group, as it will be the heart of The Infinity, the first and largest Central Business District (CBD) in Central Luzon.

Masterplanned by Palafox Associates and developed by Jenra Group's real estate arm AC Beautiful Island Realty Development Corporation (ACBI), The Shoppes is specifically developed to elevate the shopping experience of locals as well as visitors in the region.

It also aims to highlight unique local business concepts, support Kapampangan's innate entrepreneurial spirit, and raise tourism in Pampanga.

Angeles City Vice Mayor Vega expressed her gratitude to the Tan family for bringing in The Shoppes and fulfilling the dreams of every AngeleƱos to have the first CBD in the city.

The members of the City Government, together with Jenra board of directors, took part in the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas center piece.

After the lighting ceremony, 30 kids from Jenra Foundation and Operation Help for Peace Foundation received early Christmas presents.

The Holy Angel University (HAU) Chorale serenaded guests with Christmas songs.

A grand fireworks display capped the first Christmas event at The Shoppes.
