THE social service department of Asilo de la Milagrosa on Gorordo Ave. in Cebu City is looking for the parents or immediate relatives of an abandoned boy, estimated to be one year old.

The boy was given an alias of “Robin” by the Asilo orphanage.

He was found by a concerned citizen around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 20, 2019 near the University of San Carlos along Pelaez St. in Barangay San Antonio, Cebu City.

Amor Flores, focal person of Barangay San Antonio’s Gender and Development, referred the boy to Asilo de la Milagrosa.

The boy’s parents and immediate relatives are requested to appear at Asilo de la Milagrosa. They must look for Risa Johanna N. Neri, who works as a social worker in the orphanage.

Asilo de la Milagrosa is open every day from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The church’s social service department can be contacted through its telephone number: (032) 232-2443.

Failure to show up in Asilo de la Milagrosa within one month beginning on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, would mean a declaration of Robin’s abandonment. Then, the boy would be ready for adoption through the Department of Social Welfare and Development under Republic Act 9523.
