Benguet schools receive supplies

BAGUIO. FIVE schools in the Province of Benguet received school supplies from a member of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO-COR) Regional Advisory Council (RAC) as part of her commitment for the common good of school children.

Dona Digna Rosario, directress of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Montessori, initiated the donation of computers and books to several schools in Benguet.

Among the school beneficiaries include Mauro-Lauro Elementary School of Atok; Catlubong National High School of Buguias; Esa-Esa Aludos Elementary School of Tacadang, Kibungan; Camapaguey Elementay School of Mankayan; and Ekip Elementary School of Bokod which were received by respective school representatives accompanied.

Rosario graced the distinguished visitors program and flag raising ceremony of PRO-COR on Monday, December 9, at Camp Bado Dangwa in La Trinidad, Benguet.

Meanwhile, PRO-COR police personnel were awarded with medals for their dedication, teamwork and commitment leading to various successful operational accomplishments in the campaign against illegal drugs and loose firearms.

The Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to Major Roldan Elias Cabatan, Lieutenant Raymundo Lassin, Master Sergeants Elmo Luis, Eva Omaybas and Juval Baucas, and Staff Sergeant PSSg Fernando Ansong, while the Medalya ng Papuri were given to Major Dinulong Tombali, Chief Master Sergeant Allan Ampaguey and Senior Master Sergeant Julius Flores.

Editha Puddoc, director of the National Police Commission-Cordillera, awarded the PNP Welfare Benefit to relatives of the late Patrolman Jesmonde Basiag.
