Cloud-software company wants more firms to embrace automation

AMERICAN cloud-based software company Salesforce is eyeing more companies in Cebu to use its platform amid the rising demand for cloud solutions as they move towards digitizing their operations.

Geda Fernandez, chief executive of Lytblue, a firm that uses the software to help clients manage customer relationships, said the need for business automation is growing.

She said several companies in Cebu have used Salesforce’s cloud-based applications to digitize their processes.

She said the platform helps businesses automate their operations in marketing, sales, commerce and information technology, among others.

Fernandez said they are looking to have more organizations embrace automation.

For instance, she cited of Unionbank’s mobile app as being powered by Salesforce.

“We want more companies to understand how automation can help them,” she said in a recent interview with SunStar Cebu.

Salesforce is a gobal provider of cloud-based business management applications.

These cloud solutions help merchants and salespeople centralize and analyze data, keep track of interactions with clients and identify new sales leads. (CSL)
