Team Lakay Championships 12 gets going today

TWELVE non-stop mixed martial arts and kickboxing bouts are in store for fight fans as the country’s premiere MMA gym brings Team Lakay Championship 12: Adivay Explosion tonight, December 14.

Top billing the event is top MMA prospect Delfin Nawen taking on a tough challenge against Mhel Clinton Remolar in the main event which is set at the Benguet Multi-Purpose Gym in Wangal, La Trinidad.

The co-main event of the evening will feature a K-1 event between lady fighters Khrystal Yvonne Malecdan and Vannah Ibag with eight other MMA and four K-1 bouts also seeing action in the event presented by the Provincial Government of Benguet.

Jhanlo Mark Sangiao, son of Team Lakay head coach Mark, will be pitted against Cris John Delica while Daisuke Maruyama takes on Rodel Degay with Carlos Alvarez and John Farnican battling each other in an MMA bout.

In another MMA bout, Denver Sungaben will take on Jay-ar Malanang even as Kenneth Racadio squares off against Jones Catalino with Salvador Tanggacan battling Gabriel Andres while Filmar Quezon tests Benny Felwa.

Raising the curtains for the MMA bouts are Aaron Posawen who will be taking Reynalod Buclay.

Match-ups for the K-1 events are Darren Padsigan pitted against Kurt Lubrica as Carlo Bumina-ang takes on John Rey Galanto while Edilberto Coquia battles Xavier Villanueva with Jheyke Aguinoas squaring off against Zyra Bon-as.

Gates open at 6 p.m. while bouts officially begin at 7 p.m.
