What inspired you to do the character?
“I got inspired to cosplay Giyuu because I can relate to his protective and caring trait towards those he is close to and considers his friends.”
How did you make your costume?
“I made this cosplay by combining some parts of my previous costumes and slighly modifying them. I ordered the Haori online because the cloth needed to make it was not available here. I also bought my contact lenses and wig online—the wig I had styled by a fellow cosplayer. The sword was fun to make but took a while to finish since I made it from wood and other materials at hand.”
Costume-Making Tip:
“Always have a proper reference photo of the character you want to cosplay. That way, you have a clearer view of the whole costume and a proper guide in finding the right color and shade of the cloth, wig and contact lenses.”
