THE City Government has released some P300,000 as financial assistance to families displaced by fire and flood incidents that occurred in various villages in recent months in Zamboanga City.
Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar led the distribution of the cash assistance in rites Wednesday, December 18, held at the Office of the City Mayor.
A total of 78 families received the government aid as part of the city's social welfare service through assistance for families in crisis situations.
The beneficiaries were victims of flooding incidents in Sangali, Bolong and Pasonanca and fire incidents in San Jose Gusu, Cabatangan, San Roque and Tugbungan. (SunStar Zamboanga)
