THOUSANDS of Apaliteños on Tuesday, December 17, received their early Christmas gifts from the Provincial Government of Pampanga.

Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Mayor Oscar Tetangco, Jr. personally led the distribution of grocery packs to a total of 3,122 residents from villages Balucuc and San Vicente in Apalit town.

Each gift pack contained food items, such as hotdogs and chickens which may be served by families for Noche Buena.

In his message, Pineda said the activity is also his way of expressing gratitude for the unwavering support he is receiving from the Apaliteños.

“I wanted to meet you personally to show you how grateful I am of all you for your support to me and my family. You gave us the privilege to serve all of you,” he said.

Tetangco, for his part, expressed gratitude to Pineda for his thoughtfulness in prioritizing the welfare of his fellow Apaliteños.

“This may seem little but you gave our constituents something to share together on Christmas Eve. You actually shared the joy of Christmas to all of us here,” he said.
