Partying the Editorial way

THEY say news does not rest, does take a pause. But newsmakers do and when they do, they party. Hard.

Last Monday, December 16, the Editorial Department of SunStar Davao had a merrymaking in the office simultaneous to producing the paper for the following morning.

It had been tried and tested in our department that food and prize definitely unite us all. We were blessed that night with abundant food. Thank you to everyone who shared their skills in cooking and their resources that night.

But it was made even more fun with the level of competitiveness everyone had to win the parlor games. Everyone was totally on party mode. Laughter, teasing, and happy screaming filled the air while a few editors and video editors steal a few moments out of the party to edit what they’re working on to still make it to the deadline.

They say it’s only on proper time management. Work quality still shouldn’t be compromised. But no one should also forget to have fun.

Partying and having fun with the Editorial Party is similar to celebrating Christmas with your own family -- you want to crush them during the parlor games but at the end of everything you are all having fun together.

Nothing beats a party as hyper that!

We would like to thank the following Spark Coffee + Crafts, Abreeza Mall, Smart Communications, and Malagos Garden Resort Davao, and King’s Vita Plus.
