MCCI helps 4 foundations

FOUR foundations and projects will be supported by the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (MCCI) Christmas Village of Love in partnership with Sacred Heart Ateneo de Cebu Batch ‘94 and Parkmall.

The Christmas Village of Love has 800 houses and around 20 villages, town or street districts that can be adopted by individuals, families, companies and organizations who wish to support the project.

The proceeds will be used to fund the following: Kythe Foundation Inc., a foundation helping children with cancer to undergo chemotherapy and provide treatment for the underprivileged; 12 Baskets Movement, a plastic recycling and livelihood initiative; Blue Plate Project, Sacred Heart Ateneo de Cebu’s year-round feeding program for malnourished children in public schools in Barangay Canduman; and Mandaue City College, which plans to purchase school equipment for underprivileged students.

The village was officially launched on Dec. 7, 2019 at the Parkmall Atrium. It will be on display at the mall until Jan. 7, 2020.

For more details, interested individuals can contact the MCCI Secretariat through Georgia Andres at 236-8245. They can also visit the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ChristmasVillageOfLove.
