A 30-YEAR-OLD former police officer was killed on Tuesday, December 24, in Malitbog, Southern Leyte.
Authorities identified the victim as Jarvie Abiñon, a resident of Malitbog.
In an initial report, police said that three still unidentified gunmen shot Abiñon around 8 a.m. Tuesday along Sitio Bliss, Barangay Abgao, Malitbog.
The gunmen were using undetermined assault firearms.
The motive in the shooting has yet to be established.
